POY finalist

What a news! I am thrilled to be among the select group of finalists of one of the most important press photography competitions Picture of the Year International.  It is a dream come true to be among the POY finalists!

Thank you JURY for appreciating my work. In the Olympic year, when the competition is at the highest level, such an award gives double satisfaction and joy. I want to thank my photo editor Gareth Bumstead for the super crop and the entire Reuters team with Paweł Kopczyński Thank You #sony for the best camera and lenses. I am glad that I listened to my instincts and chose this particular photo position to take this historical frame with Mondo Duplantis during his world record and Olympics gold medal achievement. Thank You Mondo. Our work is full of highs and lows so it is important to keep the balance, learn from every situation, never stop striving for perfection in the photography, be grateful for good opportunities and kind people around.
